A comparative discussion about the stellar population and chemical enrichment in the nuclear regions of M31 and of its dwarf companions M32 and NGC205, based on new population syntheses using star cluster spectral features as a function of age and metallicity, is presented. The method, not requiring any direct assumption about the initial mass function and the stellar evolution, provides the visible flux fractions from different age, the metallicity components, and the overall chemical evolution in the object.
