Field equations in thepresence of a perfect fluid distributionfor Einstein-Rosen cylindricallysymmetric metric are obtained in the scale-covariant theory of gravitation proposedby Canuto et al. (1977a). A static vacuummodel and a non-static cosmological modelcorresponding to perfect fluid arepresented. Physical and Kinematicalproperties of the models are alsodiscussed.
