We carried out a search for globular clusters in M82. Since the M82 is an intermediate mass galaxy, its globular cluster system is a probe for comparing with globular cluster system of our Galaxy or M31 globular cluster system. We found two bona-fide globular clusters and three young star clusters. Some of the young star clusters are likely to have been produced during the tidal interaction episode with M81. We introduce the significance and the method of the search for globular cluster in extragalaxies in this paper.
