We present a study of stars in the post-AGB stage. To accomplish this study, a large number of candidate post-AGB stars were included in a spectroscopic survey, following selection criteria based on the position of these sources in the IRAS [12]-[25] vs [25]-[60] diagram. The result of 15 years of observations is the largest catalogue of optical spectra of evolved stars in the transition from the AGB to the PN stage, with identification charts and precise astrometric coordinates made available until the moment. It contains 254 sources, 106 of which have been classified as post-AGB stars, 21 as ``transition sources'' and 36 as Planetary Nebulae.
