The iron abundance for 18 F dwarfs, members of the open clusters Hyades, Pleiades and Coma Berenices is determined using spectroscopic observations with the 6-m telescope. It is shown that the {Hyades anomaly} for F dwarfs can be explained by strengthening of lines of middle intensity without hypotheses on a supermetallicity or on a low helium abundance for these stars.
