Outbursts of the dwarf nova SU UMa in 1970 - 79 are listed, and the star's behaviour since 1926 is discussed. The range, 10m.4 - 14m.6 is greater than is given in the catalogue, and the mean cycle length, 12d.7, is much shorter. Since the early 1960s, short outbursts have become fainter and more frequent, but supermaxima have become less frequent. Supermaxima show oscillations with an apparent period of 3 days.
