Jupiter is a powerful emitter of radio waves at decameter wavelengths. Up to now, the position of the emitting sources was not very well known. From the variation of the intensity with time and frequency and from the comparison of the high frequency limit of the emission with the gyro-frequency at the surface of the planet, the authors deduce the existence of three different sources.
