LONGSTOP is a research project aiming at computing the planetary orbits for very long intervals of time by means of fast modern computers. The uncertainty in the values of the masses of Uranus and Neptune can produce significant errors in the pericentres and the nodes, which are mostly responsible for the dynamical structure of the system. The Voyager mission to Uranus and Neptune in the next future is a good opportunity to determine more accurately the masses of the two planets.
