Papers are presented on astrophysical particle acceleration, hydromagnetic aspects of active galactic nuclei, some topics in the magnetohydrodynamics of accreting magnetic compact objects, and an oscillatory instability of interstellar medium radiative shock waves. Also considered are magnetic reconnection in the terrestrial magnetosphere, the heating and generation of suprathermal particles at collisionless shocks, substorms in the earth's magnetosphere, and planetary radio waves. Other topics include the winds in cataclysmic variable stars, new paradigms for black hole accretion from high resolution supercomputer experiments, theory of axisymmetric magnetohydrodynamic flows, and particle acceleration by Alfven wave turbulence in radio galaxies. Papers are also presented on global aspects of stream evolution in the solar wind, Jovian magnetospheric processes, magnetic helicity in astrophysics, and simulations of collisionless shocks.
