A program designed to calculate the ratio of the intensities of the transition of one ion to the transistion of another (or the same) ion is presented. It is useful in astrophysical applications. The determination of how the ions and molecules, in the regions where stars may form, are distributed. This is achieved for non-degenerate matter by solving the equations of statistical equilibrium. The computer program solves the equations assuming steady state conditions. The calculations of the program are coded in a general way so that it may be expanded for ions of N levels, which improves the accuracy in all cases. The level populations are calculated for various values of the temperature and density of the gas where the ion is located, and the intensities of transistions found. The ions are considered as having two or three fine structure levels.
