Using the radiation theory of phase transitions, it is shown that plasma crystallization in the cores of white dwarfs leads to X-ray emission 17 keV at a temperature of about 50 million K. The crystallization front velocity is about 4.5 x 10 to the -6th cm/sec. It is suggested that observations of the predicted spectrum in the case of irregular flares stipulated by starquakes of single stars may corroborate or disprove the theory of plasma crystallization in dwarf stars.
