Three papers from a conference on extragalactic radio sources are presented. The first covers new results from complete samples of faint radio galaxies and quasars. Improved coverage of the luminosity-redshift plane; linear size evolution of radio sources; and comparisons of the linear sizes of radio galaxies are described. In the second, which describes radio source environments at redshifts greater than 0.5, it is noted that the most powerful radio sources in the local Universe are found in giant elliptical galaxies. Looking back to a redshift of 0.5 (approximately equal to half the age of the Universe for Omega = 1), we see that these host galaxies are increasingly found in moderately rich clusters. This fact gives us hope that radio techniques based on depolarization/rotation measure studies may be used for studying gaseous environments of objects at redshifts higher that those accessible to current X ray studies. By exploiting radio source samples selected over a wide range in luminosity, we will also be able to test whether the luminosities of radio sources are correlated with their environments. The third paper concerns a multi-radio-frequency study of a radio-quiet quasar (RQQ). Explanations are suggested for the unusually steep radio spectrum of the quasar's extended features and for the non-axisymmetry of the spectrum around the quasar's core. Spectral maps are provided.
