Galaxy, Chemical Evolution, Metal-Poor Stars
Scientific paper
Studies of chemical evolution and formation of the Galaxy have been carried out based on spectroscopic observations of metal-poor stars. In recent years, much fainter, extremely metal-poor stars have been observed with 8-10 m class telescopes, while the observations of rather bright and moderately metal-poor stars are also important. An introductory explanation is given about the studies of the chemical evolution of the Galaxy using OAO 188 cm + HIDES.
