The ACS point spread function remains fairly stable over its field of
view, compared to the PSFs in WFPC2 or STIS. However, ACS/WFC PSF core
width and ellipticity variations are large enough to be of concern to
those undertaking very small aperture photometry or measuring small,
bright-nucleus galaxy ellipticities.
