Spectrophotometric data of the two southern magnetic white dwarfs, LP 790-29 and BPM 25114, are presented and discussed. Comparisons of the spectrum of LP 790-29 with that of the strong band lambda 4670 white dwarf BPM 27606 of similar effective temperature support the suggestion of Liebert et al. that C2 absorption is responsible for the features in LP 790-29. Blue spectra of BPM 25114 are presented and the observations show line blanketing in the wavelength regions lambda 3600-4500 A caused by unsaturated absorption by Zeeman components of the higher Balmer lines.
