Observational evidences have challenged the existing models of the formation and evolution of galaxies. They have also implied that the local environment might be a substantial factor for the formation and evolution of galaxies. If one considers that a large scale fluctuation provides a background universe for the smaller scale perturbation superposed on it, it can be shown that the larger scale fluctuation will affect the growing up of smaller scale perturbation stronger than that obtained from only considering the effect of the superposition of amplitudes in these two fluctuations.
