Scientific paper

In this paper the luminosity function (LF) of galaxies are examined both from the observational and theoretical side. It shows that the LF of galaxies is complicated and it is hard to deduce directly from mass function of formed structure in cold dark matter (CDM) or any other dark matter dominated model. In order to solve many difficulties faced by the standard CDM model for structure formation, the author examines a tilted primordial density fluctuation spectrum (TCDM).
