The role of a reflecting wall in gravitating systems is studied
theoretically in the framework of a Jeans model. When beta ranges from
greater than 0 to less than 1/2, special increasing boundary modes are
found to exist. These modes are characterized by a discrete spectrum:
the value of the ip wavenumber turned out to be unique.
