The paper presents a new parallax, proper motion, and orbit for the 7th magnitude G0 V pair Sigma 1819. The absolute parallax is +0.027 + or - 0.006 arcsec (s.e.). With the newly determined orbital elements (P = 220.0 y, a = 1.117 arcsec) the components are found to be main-sequence stars of equal mass (about 0.74 the solar mass) with absolute magnitudes of 4.7 and 4.8.
