The description of galaxy clustering by the galaxy covariance function, used by Totsuji and Kihara (1969) and by Peebles (1974), has provided deeper insight into the nature and origin of large-scale inhomogeneities in the universe. In the present paper, accurate measurements of the angular separation of pairs of galaxies are used to extend the measured range of the galaxy angular covariance function to scales nearly ten times smaller than those previously examined.
