Some consequences of current-driven turbulences (Buneman, and ion-acoustic) in magnetic loops in the solar corona are studied. The resulting turbulences enormously enhance heating and modify the transport properties. It is shown that for the coronal parameters the enhanced heating cannot be balanced by the conduction and other loss mechanisms. This leads to the thermal expansion of the coronal plasma. It is suggested that the turbulent heating may be appropriate to dynamical phenomena like flares.
