This paper reports observations made at Asiago Observatory up to 1977 of
the optical variability of 34 quasi-stellar objects located from 23 to
11 hours right ascension. For 14 of them, observed on at least 12
plates, there is no sign of variations larger than 0.3 mag; their
redshifts are uniformly distributed from 0.3 to 2.1.
