Results are presented for UBV photoelectric photometry of 24 southern galaxies. The galaxies observed include 16 SAB and SB objects (four with amorphous nuclei, four with hot-spot nuclei, and three Seyferts), four SA galaxies, two peculiar galaxies, one Haro object, and one elliptical. Diaphragms of 6.3, 12, 24, and 60 arcsec diameter were used for the observations. The results are compared with previous photometry, and the two-color relation for uncorrected values is shown to be in good agreement with that given by de Vaucouleurs (1961). It is found that the inner parts of the central regions of SB galaxies are redder than the same regions of SAB galaxies and that the opposite effect is observed in the outer parts.
