The elements of inclination matrices are the generalization of the inclination function. They appear in the Hamiltonian of the two or three non-spherical rigid body problem with the inclination of orbital or rotational angular momentum vectors as arguments. Several useful recurrence formulae for these elements are presented. Two of them are equivalent to Allan's recurrence relations for inclination functions but the remaining ones have no analogy in terms of these functions.
