Radial Velocities: Objective Prism Method

Scientific paper

B We describe a method for determining radial velocities of objects on
objective prism plates obtained with a Schmidt telescope. Application of the
method to six fields observed with a 4 degree prism on the CTIO Curtis Schmidt
produced velocities with an rms error of 20 km/sec for stars as faint as 13th
magnitude.
