Single-phase JHK photometry of 11 Magellanic Cloud type II Cepheids has revealed three stars with K (2.2 microns) excesses. If dust is responsible for the K excesses, it must have a temperature of order 1000 K. A spectrum of one of the K-excess objects, HV 5829, indicates that it is a Ba II star with a spectral type of G2 Ib-II Ba2. It is suggested that this star may also be an LMC RV Tau star. Further observations are suggested to determine the relationship between the spectral peculiarities and excess K flux.
