The 2695-MHz Galactic-plane survey with the Effelsberg 100-m telescope (Reich et al., 1984) has been inspected for shell-type or complex objects, most of which have been formerly unidentified. Eleven objects have additionally been observed at 1420 MHz, 4750 MHz, and 10.55 GHz. The IRAS sky survey was also searched for associated infrared emission. Based on the available data, the most probable identifications of four new shell-type supernova remnants and seven H II regions are proposed. Among the H II regions is a shell of about 30 x 22 pc in extent centered on a B0 star. Another thermal shell surrounds a slightly extended nonthermal source which might be a distant plerionic-type supernova remnant.
