New continuum energy distribution data of eight Be stars are presented in the region λλ3200 - 8000 Å. Spectrophotometric measurements for five of the eight Be stars, are presented for the first time. The effective temperatures of these stars have been estimated by comparing the observed continuum energy distribution curves with theoretical model atmospheres. Near-ultraviolet and near-infrared excess is found to be present in five Be stars.
