Using the Luminous Red Galaxy (LRG) sample of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 7 (SDSS DR7), we explore the environmental dependence of five photometric band concentration indexes of LRGs. It turns out that the trends for all the five band concentration indexes to change with the local density are the same: galaxies with higher concentration reside preferentially in overdense environments, while galaxies with lower concentration are located preferentially in underdense environments.
