We analyze the degradation of the measured level of anisotropy and polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background induced by irregularities of the clock which drives the radiometers used to carry on observations. Practical formulae are provided which can be used to evaluate the clock accuracy necessary to limit the signal degradation to a preset value.
