Maps of the compact radio structure of quasar 4C39.25 from epochs December 1980 through September 1987 are presented. A compact component sandwiched between other two compact and stationary with respect to each other components is seen to move superluminally with respect to the straddling components. A deceleration is observed in this superluminal motion between epochs March 1986 and September 1987.
