A new integral measurement of the Galactic cosmic ray boron to carbon abundance ratio will be presented as measured by the Calorimeter that was flown on the Cosmic Ray Energetics And Mass (CREAM) experiment. CREAM had its first flight in the 2004/2005 season at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, and the data originating from this flight are the subject of this analysis. This measurement cannot constrain the process of cosmic ray propagation on its own due to the lack of statistics; however, it provides a useful consistency check for the detector. An analysis of a novel timing based charge measurement using conventional plastic scintillation detectors will also be presented.
