High-sensitivity radio continuum observations of the galaxy NGC 404 are presented, indicating a very low radio luminosity. It is found that the galaxy exhibits an unusually large ratio of neutral hydrogen mass to optical luminosity. Although NGC 404 is an S 0 galaxy optically, it possesses several radio peculiarities. It might be a highly peculiar galaxy related to the Local Group. A few radio sources in the immediate vicinity are also discussed.
