Introduction: The main goal of Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) is the potential habitability definition for astrobiological studies and for future human missions to Mars. Some MER opportunity reported data indicated that Meridiani Planum mineralogy is coincident with some particular acidophilic terrestrial environment drives by chemolithotrophic iron cycle microbes [1]. The presence of Jarosite and Goethite seems underline a possible acidophilic ecosystem presence on the past on the area.
