We report the photometric properties of the delta Scuti star GSC2683-3076: seven frequencies were detected; our derived physical parameters indicate that this variable is a 'normal' Pop. I delta Sct variable, slightly overabundant in metals, evolving on its main sequence stage with a mass of M=1.85 Msun and Age 1.0 Gyr. The star is a field star, not a member of the young open cluster NGC6871.
