Time distributions of electrons and muons (5 GeV and greater) have been obtained for air showers with 10 to the 5th or more particles at distances up to 500 m from the axis. The experimental results are compared with calculations based on a quark-gluon string model. An excess of registered muons with delays greater than 25 ns is observed near the shower axis. Signals with the same delays were recorded simultaneously using two staggered detectors.
