Photometric and spectroscopic variability of active late-type stars are frequently interpreted as evidence for magnetic activity analogous to solar activity such as cool, dark starspots. Doppler imaging has already proved to be a suitable tool for extracting such important information as the temperature of spots in late type stars as well as estimates of global degrees of spottedness. In this paper we describe FORTRAN programs capable of analysing spectral line shapes (a necessary step before Doppler imaging) as well as producing theoretical colours.
