With the intention of investigating cosmic ray distribution and propagation in the haloes of normal spiral galaxies, 30 edge-on galaxies were observed at 843 MHz with the Molonglo Observatory Synthesis Telescope. Some results of this study are presented here. Of the 24 galaxies detected, sixteen were partially resolved. Fourteen of the corresponding maps are presented as overlays on optical images. The seven galaxies with unresolved or marginally resolved emission were all of morphological type SO or Sa. Three galaxies, NGC 2613, IC 5052, and NGC 7184, each appear to possess two weak continuum maxima and should be reobserved so that more sensitive maps can be made.
