Lightcurves in b, v, u-b, and v-y for minor planet (51)Nemausa are obtained from 1916 simultaneous ubvy observations during 8 nights in 1989. Color variations in u-b with amplitude 0.013 m are established, and an amplitude of order 0.003 m faintly seen in v-y. The difference between the 1989 and 1983 lightcurves, obtained at almost diametrically opposite positions, is not a simple sine-function. Hence, by Russell's rules the planet must be spotted, and is either not convex or is affected by shadowing and phase. The phase coefficients show the same 1/lambda-dependence on wavelengths as diffraction phenomena. The least squares method giving a smooth lightcurve, the period of rotation, phase constants, and relative magnitudes of comparison stars, is presented.
