Photoelectric observations of three CP3 stars carried out from 1969 to 1975 at the Catania Astrophysical Observatory in the UBV natural system are presented. The star HD 3322 has been discovered to be variable and a period of 4.6904 days has been established. The period of HD 27295 has been improved to the value of 4.4248 days. The photometric variability of HD 89822 has also been discovered and a period of 7.5586 days has been established which is substantially different from the known spectroscopic binary period of 11.5791 days. In the case of HD 89822 the effect of the secondary component upon the light variations is studied and it is shown that its influence is negligible. The similarity between CP3 and CP2 stars is also discussed.
