The radial distribution of bar versus nonbar galaxies within the Coma
cluster shows that a significantly larger fraction of bar galaxies are
members of the cluster core. This result can be used either to estimate
the time scale for the decay of bar instabilities or to argue that
galaxies in the core of Coma are confined within the core.
