Observations of the average polarization of several weak pulsars and pulsar emission features at 430 MHz are presented. The polarization survey of 31 pulsars was conducted with the Arecibo 305-m reflector with a sensitivity of approximately 100 mJy peak intensity over 10 deg effective width. Stokes parameter profiles measured for the three pulsars in the sample with interpulse emission (0823+26, 0950+08 and 1929+10) reveal measurable linear polarization angles, with that of PSR rotating smoothly and continuously through 180 deg across the interpulse-main pulse waveform. Of the remaining 28 pulsars, 17 exhibit simple profile shapes and 11 are double or complex, with the highest levels of linear polarization (up to 83%) found in those with simple profiles. Switching between dominant linear emission modes is also evident, usually at the leading or trailing edges of the profiles, and the linear depolarization observed is attributed to interference between orthogonal emission states. In addition, circular polarizations of between 0 and 25% are measured which are apparently independent of both pulse shape and linear polarization level.
