The galaxy/quasar pair NGC 6503/1749 + 70.1 has been mapped with a 1-arcmin beam in the 21-cm H I line using the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope. The neutral hydrogen associated with the low-mass spiral galaxy shows an asymmetric distribution, and is centrally concentrated. A flat rotation curve is seen, resulting in a sharply rising mass-to-light ratio with radius, as well as kinematical evidence for warping of the H I plane. There are no clear cut morphological or physical features indicating an association of the galaxy and quasar.
