The 21 micron feature found in post-AGB stars is rare and not identified. By comparing the intensity ratio at 11.3 and 21 microns, the proposed SiC dust grain as the carrier of this feature is doubted. From the view of abundance which should be able to account for the observed intensity, a few other candidates for the carrier are challenged. On the other hand, the Spitzer search for new 21 micron sources is proposed and approved.
