The Dergaon meteorite was collected in 2001 and classified as H5 Chondrite. Elemental abundance ratio are obtained in a recent analysis (Shukla et al.,2005). Surprisingly, Xe^129 which should be ubiquitous in meteoritic material, was not reported . We have taken the abundance of this isotope in proportion to the universal ratio . This comes to Xe^129 = 98.58 when Xe ^132 = 100. The whole of Xe^129 might be due to in situ decay of I^129 in the sample. The time interval between the formation of the solar system and the formation of meteorite is indeed crucial in that time when the meteoritic material material became a closed system with no nuclear processing only beta-decay can take place. Analysis is made through the exponential model as well as the uniform model, and a time interval of 0.15 x 10^9 yrs between the formation of solar system and the meteorite is taken from Hohenberg et at. ( 1976). Usual s-process necleo-synthesis and cosmic ray contribution and the nuclear reactions occuring in the presence of magnetic field are some of the considerations we are taking for the age determination of this particular meteorite.
