We present the statistical study of solar vector magnetic field and the relationship with magnetic helicity based on the observational vector magnetograms of solar active regions at Huairou Solar Observing Station of National Astronomical Observatories of China. The following major problems will discussed: 1. The influence of Faraday effects on the measurements of Huairou vector magnetograph and its correction on the data analysis. 2. The statistical analysis of magnetic helicity based on the calculation of Huairou vector magnetograms in the period of 1987-2005, and the comparison with the results obtained from the data sets of observational vector magnetograms at Mitaka and Mees Solar Observatories. 3. The statistical study on the properties of trans-equatorial loops inferred from soft-X ray configurations and the relationship with connected helical configurations of solar active regions.
