Massive stars the ideal laboratory to investigate three important physical phenomena: mass loss by stellar wind, convective instability and associated mixing, rotation, and their interplay. In this note, we will focus on the convective instability, summarizing the results obtained over the past three decades and highlighting some points that are still controversial.
