The Roto-Translational (RT) collision-induced absorption (CIA) spectra of gaseous CO2 were computed using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. By adjusting an overlap contribution to the multipolar induction, a good agreement between MD simulations and existing experiments (233 K to 400 K) was achieved. Based on these results an analytical model of the CIA spectral profile from 200 K to 800 K for modeling of Venus' atmosphere is proposed.
