The present conference discusses comparative solar wind decelerations at the Earth and Mars, a structural model of the Mars magnetosheath, solar wind depletion near Mars, Phobos 2 observations of the Mars magnetosheath, the interaction of the shocked solar wind and Mars ions, Phobos 2 measurements of Mars magnetosphere ions, the effect of ion heating on plasma transport at Martian polar latitudes, plasma clouds and the intermediate transition in the Venus ionosheath, the modulation of Jovian electrons by the solar wind, and Ulysses observations of energetic H3(+) ions in the Jupiter magnetosphere. Also discussed are ring current H atom precipitation on the outer planets, the Coriolis effect in a rapidly rotating magnetosphere, outer planet ionospheres, the ionospheres and magnetospheres of comets, observations of structures within the Grigg-Skjellerup cometosheath, plasma flow in the cometosheath of Comet Halley, the diamagnetic effect of the ion pile-up region of Comet Halley, plasma conductivity in the Comet Halley ionosphere, and the solar wind-Pluto interaction.
