The MEM package called mem0 for image restoration written in the SPP
language in IRAF is described. Emphasis is put on the task irme0b for
image restoration. Its underlying algorithm, programming, and usage are
introduced in some detail. Its merits and limitations are discussed.
Finally, the future development of this package is proposed.
